GABE TESCH JOINS RACE FACE WITH EYES ON THE NEXT CHAPTER OF HIS RACING CAREER
23-Year-Old Spokane, Washington Driver Brings an Inspiring Story of Faith, Perseverance and Purpose to the Race Face Family
SPOKANE, Wash. (August 24, 2026) — Race Face Brand Development is proud to announce the addition of Gabe Tesch, a 23-year-old sports car driver from Spokane, Washington, to its growing family of drivers.
For Tesch, racing is more than competition. It is part of a journey shaped by family, faith and a second chance at life.
Tesch grew up around motorsports, spending weekends at the track watching his father compete in a vintage Datsun 240Z. Surrounded by race cars and the people who make the sport special, he developed a passion for racing at an early age.
At just 11 years old, however, Tesch's life changed dramatically when he was diagnosed with brain cancer. The years that followed included surgeries, treatments and challenges no child should have to face.
After completing treatment, Tesch attended a Formula 1 Grand Prix that reignited his passion for motorsports. On the trip home, he told his parents, "I want to be a race car driver."
This time, it wasn't simply a childhood dream.
Soon afterward, the family purchased his first kart, beginning a racing journey that has since taken Tesch from karting into Formula cars and sports cars, competing at some of the country's premier racing facilities.
Today, Tesch is focused on continuing his development in sports car racing with the long-term goal of competing at the highest levels of IMSA. His partnership with Race Face will focus not only on creating opportunities behind the wheel, but also on developing the professional foundation needed to build a sustainable career in motorsports.

Tesch's story also creates a natural connection with the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of children battling pediatric cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
That connection became especially meaningful this summer when Tesch participated in the Great American Road Rally, a Route 66 journey from Chicago to Santa Monica that raised awareness and support for children and families facing pediatric cancer.
Tesch was selected to drive the Rally's final leg from Las Vegas to Santa Monica alongside Jaclyn Murphy, whose childhood battle with pediatric brain cancer inspired the creation of the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation.
The pairing brought together two childhood brain cancer survivors who turned some of the most difficult chapters of their lives into opportunities to help others.
"Life is a gift, and I intend to make the most of it," said Tesch. "Racing may have started as a childhood dream, but today it represents something much bigger—a chance to show what is possible through faith, determination and the courage to chase something extraordinary."
As part of Race Face Brand Development, Tesch will work to expand his personal brand, sponsor relationships, media and communication skills, social media presence and long-term career strategy while continuing to pursue opportunities in sports car racing.
For Tesch, joining Race Face represents another important step toward his racing goals—and another opportunity to use the journey that brought him here to make a difference for others.
